Former MP and BJP leader Dilip Ghosh launched a scathing attack on the state government. He stated that not only political parties, but every citizen of Bengal should protest against the incident, and the protest must be strong enough to reach the ears of the Mamata Banerjee government. He alleged that the state government has failed to prevent the repeated occurrence of such incidents. He also sharply criticized the government regarding the SC appointment issue.
